Red Bull Bragantino is closely monitoring the situation of player Pedro Severino, who was involved in a car accident on the Anhanguera Highway. The 19-year-old player was transferred from the Hospital Municipal Dr. Waldemar Tebaldi to the Unimed in Ribeirão Preto.

What happened?

Pedro Severino, who belongs to Botafogo-SP and was loaned to Red Bull Bragantino, suffered a cranial trauma and had to undergo emergency surgery.

Player's condition

The hospital in Americana had started the process to confirm brain death, but the protocol was interrupted after the young man had a coughing fit. He is being accompanied by Bragantino's doctor Ricardo Ansai, a reference in neurosurgery.
